This Privacy Policy applies to the Mydea application, the Mydea website, and related services operated by Team Mydea (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Our privacy promise
Mydea does not collect, sell, rent, or use your information to build a personal profile about you.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, accounts, passwords, or other identifying information
- We do not collect viewing history, preferences, playback progress, or usage behavior
- We do not collect device identifiers, diagnostics, analytics, or advertising identifiers
- We do not operate a server system that receives or stores your media data
Mydea runs on your device and helps you connect your own media services, files, and external information sources. You configure and manage those connections yourself. Team Mydea cannot view their contents.
Third-party connections
The Service can connect to third-party services such as Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, Trakt, SMB, and WebDAV. Those services are operated independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Please review them before enabling a connection.
Mydea does not represent or control any third-party service and is not responsible for information that you provide directly to those services.
Links to other sites
The Service may contain links to websites or services that are not operated by Team Mydea. Once you follow a third-party link, you are outside our control. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
Changes to this policy
Team Mydea may update this Privacy Policy at any time without notifying you. An updated policy becomes effective immediately when it is posted on this page. You should review this page periodically.
If you do not accept an updated Privacy Policy, you must immediately stop using the Service.
